resham.singh@newah.org.npMr. Resham Jung Singh is perusing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Water Resource Management focused on “Climate Resilient and Sustainable WASH” in Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), Malaysia. Mr. Singh has completed M. Sc. in Construction Management from Pokhara University, Nepal Engineering College Kathmandu with B.E. in Civil Engineering from Tribhuwan University, IoE Pulchowk Campus Lalitpur, and a Certificate level course from St. Francis Xavier University, Coady International Institute Canada. He has been serving for 16 years in the development sector with various I/NGOs (Practical Action Nepal, HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal), and closely worked with government agencies across Nepal. He brings a wide range of experiences in the area of project management, quality control and assurance of physical infrastructure construction, partnership management, HR and financial management, monitoring & evaluation, capacity building in close coordination and cooperation with different stakeholders e.g. government agencies (federal, provincial and local), I/NGOs, user communities, private sectors, donor agencies (SDC/DFID/WB/ADB/EU).

Senior Manager – Field Operations
Kumar@newah.org.npKumar Prasad Silwal has completed Master of Science in Development Management and Governance (MSDMG) from Nepal Open university and has a Master in Business Study (MBS) from Tribhuwan University. He has more than 20 years working experience in development projects in Nepal including DFID, WaterAid, Plan Nepal, Rain Foundation and SIMAVI funded WASH projects across the country. He is skilled in Integrating WASH with livelihood, nutrition, child protection and menstruation hygiene management and good governance in local level planning through advocacy, social mobilization and capacity strengthening. He has sound knowledge of gender and social inclusion and multi-sectoral development perspective in Nepal He has practical knowledge in project management, staff management, advocacy and lobbying for policy formulation and integration of development issues in the planning process. Having sound coordination and facilitation skill, he has maintained good relationship with district and local level government officials and non-government partners. He is competent in staff management, budget management, donor reporting, coordination and networking. He is highly skilled in deigning, costing and implementation of gravity flow and solar & electricity lifting water supply schemes, rain water harvesting in school and households level, school latrine construction, building construction, small irrigation and road construction.

dineshupreti@newah.org.npDinesh Upreti holds a Master Degree in Master in Business Administration MBA) from the Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He has more than 20 years working experience in development projects in Nepal supported by DFID, WaterAid, Plan Nepal, Rain Foundation, SIMAVI, Concern Worldwide, European, Rain Foundation, A Drop of Life etc. He has extensive knowledge of project planning, implementation and sustainability with good relationship with donor, Government agency and likeminded organization. He also has good knowledge of Integrating WASH with livelihood, Rural Development, Nutrition, Child Protection and Menstruation Hygiene Management and Good governance and Gender and Social Inclusion. He served in this organization as Regional Coordinator, Province Manager in Central Development Region, Western Region, Mid and Far Western Region with project planning, implementation and monitoring. He has sound knowledge of office management skills, staff management, capacity building and staff motivation with better relation and coordination with Gos, I/NGOs and community. He has participated in different kind of training, capacity, building, research activities and short-term development course in in country out of country as well in national and international seminar and workshop. He has been working as an HR/Admin Manager in NEWAH since May 2022.
Planning, Monitoring and Reporting Manager
mpyadav@newah.org.npHaving a PhD in management and double master’s degrees in management and sociology, Dr. Yadav has published over 21 peer-reviewed research articles in journals of national and international repute in Nepal, India, and UK. He has also published two books on entrepreneurship and sustainable development in Germany. He has communicated over 15 research papers at international conferences in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Israel as well as participated in more than 25 international conferences. In addition, he has published over 100 articles in national daily newspapers and online media on different themes such as WASH, renewable energy, entrepreneurship, socio-economic issues, etc. Dr. Yadav has over 19 years of experience in I/NGOs including the United Nations (UN), out of which over 12 years of experience in the WASH sector at the senior level. Currently, he is leading the planning, monitoring, and reporting department at NEWAH Headquarters in Kathmandu, Nepal. Being a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), he is acting as the charity water’s program focal person to ensure effective coordination and communication with the funding partners to maintain a harmonious working relationship.

Mr. Shrestha has 7 years of experience in Finance department which includes Financial Planning, Budgeting and Operations in Development Sector, Tourism Sector, Financial Liaison between different Stakeholders and Public Private Partnerships. Sajal also brings in experience of Trade, Tourism and Event Management from his side projects. Mr. Shrestha enjoys sports, music, T.V series and movies. He loves travelling to new places and pledges to travel once a year.
