Ms. Binu Kharel holds a Master’s degree in Business Studies (MBS) from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She has been serving at NEWAH since 2009 and currently works as the Senior Finance Officer. With over 15 years of experience in financial management, she has extensive expertise in accounting systems and software such as TATA-EX Next Generation, SOFTECH, and FAMAS.

During her tenure at NEWAH, Ms. Kharel has contributed significantly to financial planning, budgeting, fund management, and reporting, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. She has managed finances for various donor-supported projects funded by WaterAid, AusAID, SIMAVI, Rain Foundation, Concern Worldwide, charity: water, and Rotary Club.

Recognized for her precision, analytical ability, and dedication to transparency, Ms. Kharel plays a vital role in maintaining financial integrity within the organization. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music as a source of relaxation and inspiration.
