Mr. Kumar Prasad Silwal has completed Master of Science in Development Management and Governance (MSDMG) from Nepal Open university and has  Master in Business Studies (MBS) from Tribhuwan University. He has more than 20 years of working experience in development projects in Nepal including DFID, WaterAid, Plan Nepal, Rain Foundation and SIMAVI funded WASH projects across the country. He is skilled in Integrating WASH with livelihood, nutrition, child protection and menstruation hygiene management and good governance in local level planning through advocacy, social mobilization and capacity strengthening. He has sound knowledge of gender and social inclusion and multi-sectoral development perspective in Nepal. He has practical knowledge in project management, staff management, advocacy and lobbying for policy formulation and integration of development issues in the planning process. Having sound coordination and facilitation skill, he has maintained good relationship with district and local level government officials and non-government partners. He is competent in staff management, budget management, donor reporting, coordination and networking. He is highly skilled in deigning, costing and implementation of gravity flow and solar & electricity lifting water supply schemes, rain water harvesting in school and households level, school latrine construction, building construction, small irrigation and road construction.
