Mr. Chhabilal Lamichhane

HR, Administration, and Procurement Coordinator

Chhabilal Lamichhane is an experienced management professional with more than 15 years of progressive experience in human resources, administration, procurement, finance, and logistics management within the development and humanitarian sectors. Throughout his career, he has worked with national and international organizations, supporting effective operations, compliance, and organizational systems strengthening.

Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Lamichhane served in various finance and administration positions with Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH), SOS Children’s Village Nepal, Ujyalo Foundation, SEBAC-Nepal, and NCCDC-Nepal. He has extensive experience in human resource management, procurement and supply chain management, financial administration, inventory and asset management, donor compliance, budgeting, and audit coordination.

Mr. Lamichhane holds a Master of Business Studies (MBS) from Tribhuvan University and has participated in several professional trainings in humanitarian logistics and supply chain management, financial management, USAID rules and regulations, monitoring and evaluation, and advanced computer applications.

At NEWAH, Mr. Lamichhane leads the Human Resources, Administration, and Procurement functions, ensuring efficient organizational operations, transparent procurement processes, and effective management of human and material resources. He is committed to promoting accountability, operational excellence, and a supportive work environment that enables NEWAH to deliver sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene services to communities across Nepal.
