Ms. Joshi is a finance professional with over 10 years of experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, administration, procurement, and donor compliance within Nepal’s development sector. She has extensive experience managing donor-funded projects, ensuring financial accountability, and supporting effective program implementation.

She served as an Accountant at Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH) from 2019 to 2023, where she managed financial operations for charity: water-funded WASH projects in Sindhuli Province. Her responsibilities included budget planning and monitoring, financial reporting, partner fund management, payroll administration, audit support, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.

Nirmala has also worked with Nepal CRS Company as a Senior Administration and Finance Officer, as well as with the National Federation of Disabled Nepal, Rupantaran Nepal, and the Micro-Enterprise Development Programme (MEDEP). Throughout her career, she has developed strong expertise in financial systems, procurement processes, inventory management, financial analysis, and organizational compliance.

Nirmala holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from Tribhuvan University. She has completed professional training in financial management, management information systems, proposal and report writing, office management, and organizational safety and security. She is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and efficient resource management in development programs.
