Ishwari Swar is a retired Professor of Tribhuvan University and a leading advocate for the rights and welfare of senior citizens in Nepal. She is the founder and current chairperson of the Senior Citizens Welfare Association Nepal, an organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. As a senior activist, Ms. Swar has represented Nepal at international forums on the rights of older persons. Her work focuses on promoting social inclusion, ensuring access to healthcare, and safeguarding the rights of the elderly across the country.
