Ms. Ganga Devi Gurung brings several decades of extensive experience across the fields of media, social development, and community advocacy. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to advancing social causes, with a particular focus on improving water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services in marginalized communities. In addition to her longstanding engagement in the social sector, she has been an active voice for media pluralism and press freedom, advocating for an independent, inclusive, and responsible media landscape in Nepal.
Her association with Nepal Water for Health (NEWAH) reflects both her professional expertise and her passion for community-centered development. She previously served as a member of the NEWAH Audit Committee, where she contributed to strengthening institutional governance and accountability. Currently, she continues to support the organization’s strategic leadership as a member of the Executive Committee of the NEWAH.
